I am a Diabetic patient,  does I will get different power for spectacles lenses during eye test . When there is sugar is high then different power and when the sugar is normal then different power for lenses?

Yes, high blood sugars can cause a fluctuation in the power. This is reversed on controlling the blood sugar levels. There can even be an acute diabetic cataract that is reversible with control.

Yes, the power will be different if you get refraction done in high sugar level and in normal blood sugar level. Best is to get refraction  done 7-10 days after your blood sugar is in normal range.

Fluctuating blood sugars cause hydration of lens and fluctuating refractive error. Temporary cataract. Never change your glass prescription during fluctuations in blood sugars
