Gases issue during Pregnancy

My wife is on bed rest during pregnancy . She is 21 week pregnant and Now she is facing issue related to gases . Can anybody provide solution to it considering we can't take any medicine during pregnancy

It is common problem during pregnancy.She should take plenty of water.
