Gall bladder removal is needed when GB stones are  causing repeated symptoms. If you keep the Gall bladder it will again harbour stones in future and may trouble you again requiring repeated Stone Removal which is not beneficial in the long run. More over Gall stones can cause pancreatitis which a very serious complication.
Next Steps
