Normally gall bladder polyps remain silent for several years. They do not regress in size on their own. However it has observed that with time they do increase in size. Hence these polyps should be under surveillance as more than 1cm polyp is considered as a precursor of malignancy. However one should not get worried, as if the size increases,, you may plan gall bladder removal which is a simple surgery.
