Gall bladder stones

I have severe pain in my stomach I have done sonography result is gall bladder appears normally distended and shows multiple calculi and echogenic sludge in it. Largest size measure 17 mm minimal edema of GB wall seen rest normal USG of abdomen.so now what to do? Doctor suggested for surgery of GB.

Hi, if the above mentioned pain in right upper abdomen that means this is symptomatic gall bladder stone and the advice is to get the gall bladder removed laparoscopically , which is a safe surgery and is choice in today's world. There is no any other way to treat it except surgery. feel free to ask any further quary.
