Welcome and Good morning Your concern is 1. Is full anaesthesia is given during surgery ? Depends upon the type of surgery 2. How it is given? Usually anaesthesia are given as stages . Pre-medications . Induction of anaesthesia . Maintenance . Reversal of anaesthesia 3. Is breathing tube is placed during surgery? After pre-medications, during induction stage breathing tube is placed for respiratory support 4. Is it necessary? If the general anaesthesia is given then endotracheal intubation is  required
