Gaining weight instead of losing

I used to weigh 82.5 kgs. My height is 172 cms. From 1 week I started doing workout. Instead of losing weight I started gaining around 400gms everyday. Even I controlled my diet from a week. Now I weigh around 85 kgs. Pre workout I am taking creatine monohydrate. Are there any repercussions?
