If the shoulder pain is radiating towards the hand, you should get investigated to rule out the possibility of any other neurological issue like cervical spondylosis. Is there any pain in neck region as well.
Next Steps
You can start with hot fomentation,  physiotherapy,  take analgesic with muscle relaxant.  Plan to get X ray of Cervical spine to know the bony condition.
