I 've been having my one front tooth problem. As i met with an accident yesterday my front tooth has been shaking. My dentist checked the mobility of the tooth and told me to come after two days as it will take its place in 5-10 days. Does, tooth take its place or else ehat can be done?

Firstly a radiograph has to be taken to check for any fracture in the root. Further treatment has to be planned according to the x-ray report.
Health Tips
Do not bite anything with that tooth and do not keep checking the mobility again and again

Hi Dr anwar here, Generally if the tooth is mobile immediately after fall/accident, that tooth is to be splinted to the adjacent teeth with adhesive bonding or ss wires for 2 to 3 weeks. It helps the mobile tooth to be stable and retains its anchorage with healing at the root end. Also if the tooth is fractured after fall, depending on the degree of fracture it has to be treated.
