Hello recently recently I had a risky sexual exposure and I was the insertive sexual partner(male to female) I was put on HIV medication(truvada) as my only pep medication for 30 days. My question was this enough for a effective pep and I just did a hiv test at 30 day post hiv exposure and it was negative I believe it was a 4th gen test. Should I take another hiv test?

On the 28th day after the exposure HIV test by ELISA 4th generation is accurate. Now it will be in the window period so it will come negative, you can try again on the 90th day of exposure by the ELISA 4th generation test.
