I GOT WET COUGH FROM 5 DAYS. TODAY MORNING WHEN I SPAT COUGH THERE WAS BLOOD IN IT. I HAVE QUITED SMOKING SINCE 20 DAYS. pLASE SUGGEST

Minimal amount of blood in the sputum especially during episodes of respiratory tract infection is not really a major problem. Forceful coughing can injury small blood vessels in the airway leading to blood in the sputum. If you continue to have this problem consult nearby pulmonologist and ENT specialist
