Hello doctor, my baby is 2 months old. im getting breast milk but it is not sufficient for him. He is asking for every 1 n half hour. so my milk production is becoming very low at the end of the day. My query is can i go for formula milk and breast milk alternatively( one time breast milk and next time formula milk )? if yes, which brand can i go for? pls suggest

I think hour feeding is adequate. Don't go for formula feed as far as possible. Monitor weight gain, urine output. No top feeds and no bottle feeds - never
Next Steps
monitor weight gain and urine output. if baby passes good flow of clear urine atleast 2 to 4 hourly. I think it's ok.
Health Tips
continue breast feeding only .

You should monitor weight if baby is gaining good weight on exclusive BF then BM is sufficient for baby... Recheck latching position for better attachment and BF...
Next Steps
you can use any stage 1 formula powder if BM is insufficient...
Health Tips
consult online if needed...
