Forgetting things

My father is 61 years. He is fit and having no disease. No surgery in past. But we have noticed that recently he has started forgetting things (not too often...but still sometimes). Any test required or is this normal.

Decline in memory is normal for his age. At 60 years of age, doing a basic health check-up would help to discover any hidden problems.
