Forceps is a device which helps to cut short the second stage of labour when there is a risk of maternal exhaustion or in case of fetal distress to the baby
It is not because of forceps application a a baby will get cerebral palsy it may be because of the fetal distress which is associated with that so so now if you want to rule out if the baby is having cerebral palsy or not first see if the baby is active and pattern of sleep any difficulty in thriving need to be noted
Note down the indication of forceps in your delivery
