Foracort 400 safety
Hello, I was prescribed Foracort 400 twice a day for 3 weeks for post viral bronchitis. As it contains an immunosuppressant how risky is it safe to use while living in a polluted city like delhi? Are there any alternatives that can help to achieve the same healing without immunosuppressive? Thanks!
1.It’s inhaled medication not a systemic one that goes in to blood directly.
2.Even with proper technique hardly 15-40 percent at the max it goes to your lung and rest will be deposited mostly in mouth,interesting fact is the drug you are taking is in micrograms not even milligrams.
3.wash and gargle after having medication.
4.it is safe unless - person is already immunocompromised plus not taking proper care plus not using proper inhaler technique.
