Hi, Is safe to take folic acid tablets for both male n female who are planning to have baby. There is 12 years age difference between me n my wife.

Folic acid is needed in women to help in brain development of the baby. It should be started from at least 1 month before pregnancy and must be continued for at least first 3 months of pregnancy. It is absolutely safe.
