Fluctuating Blood Pressure

2025-01-10 15:16:00
Mother lipid report shows this, she is taking Telmisartan 40 morning & evening 40mg. Her BP is fluctuating like 160-130. Also she feels uneasinesses which is not tolerable. Can it be related to autoimmune disease ? Can I go for autoimmune test ? This has been since past 1 month. Thank you

For high cholesterol, try home remedies like consuming foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, soluble fiber, and antioxidants, such as flaxseeds, chia seeds, oats, barley, almonds, and avocados, as well as drinking green tea and apple cider vinegar.

This is a fairly normal report. With this report I will not like to recommend any medicine for hypercholesterolemia.

Fluctuating blood pressure (160–130) and uneasiness can be concerning, and while it is not commonly linked directly to autoimmune diseases, certain autoimmune conditions like lupus or vasculitis can occasionally affect blood pressure regulation by involving the kidneys, blood vessels, or other organs. However, these are less likely without other symptoms.
Next Steps
Please consult for a detailed review of medications, especially if uneasiness persists. A dosage adjustment or medication change may help.
