Hello, We all know flu vaccine yearly is mandatory after an age of 6 years of child. But now i heard as per new norms,it started yearly after age of 2. Please suggest. Thanks

Flu vaccine is recommended at 6months of age, 2doses 4 weeks apart
Next Steps
it is recommended for all age groups now just prior to rainy season every year

Flu vaccine is given from 6 months onwards till 5 years.
Next Steps
After 5 years, if your child has on and off cough , fever then vaccinate yearly.

Your information is not right Flu vaccine schedule starts in first year itself Starts at 6 month with two doses  in 1st year 1 month apart After that yearly till 5 years ,beneficial if taken after that too in same schedule .

Flu vaccine is recommended from 6 months to 5 years age every year. After that if cases are more in your area you can take.... or for high risk children we should give yearly..
