Floaters post catract
Developed white than turned black floaters in left eye about 15 days after catract operation. None in other eye, though catract operated 2 years back. Glucoma in right eye under control with azopt and latanprost. Pressure 11-12. Blood glucose 112.3/132.8. Platelet between 1.14-1.25. Triglycerides 155.5. Globulin 2.23. VLDL 31.1. B/P 110/70. Seen while looking at near objects. Wish to know whether deficiency in operation or age related or more eye work. Suggest operation required, medicines and fruits etc in diet and best specialist in NCR

1. Your glaucoma seems under control..so nothing to worry about that
2. Black floaters must be due to vitreous (gel in eye) liquifaction which is normal age related change.
3.No treatment is required
4. Just try to ignore and after some time,your brain will learn to avoid these floaters

At your age, floaters may be a normal phenomenon. They were probably there before surgery, but as your vision improved post surgery, they are more clearly visible to you now. You will learn to live with them and no treatment is required as long as they don't impair vision and interfere with your daily activities. Your glaucoma seems under control but i cannot say for sure till i can examine your optic disc. The OCT you have attached has a poor signal strength of 49 and may not be reliable. Make sure you use the eye drops prescribed regularly.
