Fistula in Ano
I have a fistula in ano about 2 cm in length and 2-3 mm in thickness ,i know there are multiple options for treatment but i am unable to find which will be the best one so it doesn't reoccur.please help me i need advice om this.
There are two options that are available, one is surgical and non surgical, in non surgical there is something called laser procedure to treat fistula in ano, but with any procedure recurrence rate can vary from 0-18%, and it cannot be predicted. What is important is to find the primary cause behind the fistula in ano, if that is taken care of then the risk of recurrence can be reduced.
