How many weeks does it take to confirm a pregnancy using an ultrasound test? My girlfriend took an ultrasound test but it showed nothing. So the doctor has asked for another ultrasound because the hcG hormone test turned out positive. Is the ultrasound necessary or should we move to abortion directly?
