I am a Covid survivor with 90% lung involvement corad 22/25 diagnosed with post Covid lung fibrosis and Covid Pneumonia in 2021. I was under Home Oxygen Concentrator therapy for 3 months under medication with Nintedanib for lung fibrosis and recovered well in 2021 itself. Recently around 3 weeks ago I was suffering from fever and breathlessness for which I was given medication for bronchitis and fever. However I was still facing a breathlessness issue and underwent a CT Scan Chest. Report says "Linear fibrotic strands with few linear opacities and ground glass opacities in bilateral upper lobe , right middle lobe , lingular segment and bilateral lower lobe predominantly basal segments. - Post infective etiology with superimposed active infection. " I was given medication with Acebrophylline. Still I feel breathlessness and feeling heaviness in my chest. Please help me in resolving my health issue. Thanks for your kind support 🙏

Need routine blood tests and sputum culture,Once you ruled out infection better undergo PFT(DLCO etc…if you are not able to do spirometry ) than based on that your doctor will decide on medication

It’s looking like post Covid fibrosis may be ILD upon which recently got infected might be pneumonia.. could understand better if I can get HrCt chest films.. if it’s pneumonia, need to get few blood investigations done to know extent / depth of infection after which antibiotics need to be decided.. if u r feeling breathless , need to get abg done to know co2 n o2 levels n decide regarding oxygen/ Bipap/ NIV support
