My wife has developed Fibroid last year which was 5inch . This year it has grown to 10 inch doctors have advised to get operated and get it removed. Does bad sex life leads to fibroid development

Hi.... Estrogen and progesterone, two hormones that stimulate development of the uterine lining during each menstrual cycle in preparation for pregnancy, appear to promote the growth of fibroids. Fibroids contain more estrogen and progesterone receptors than normal uterine muscle cells do.....
