Fever since four days

My son has been having fever since 4 days. On taking paracetamol, the fever goes down, but is back again after few hours. No cold, cough or vomiting. Doc asked to continue paracetamol and cetrizin, but still no improvement. High fever is back again.

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely. If not accompanied by any other symptoms,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
