My 2.5 year old boy have a fever for last one day 101.5 f and reduce to 99.5 when giving calpol 250 no other symptom. Is this serious or not

It could be viral. Watch for any other symptoms like cough, cold, rashes. If fever persists beyond three days, then better to get him checked by the pediatrician. Check the kid's temperature once in every 6 hours. If temp >99f, give Calpol. And also do tepid sponging with Luke warm water.
