Hello Doc, My self Bharath. My Wife is getting fever in regular intervals. She is 24. Recently she undergone treatment for fever by the Doctors advice. Again from last 2 days she is suffering with fever and body pains. May I know what is the exact reason for this, why is getting fever in a regular intervals? Is there any advice for this? Awaiting for your reply. Thank you.

Hi, There could be various reasons for recurrent fever. It needs to be evaluated in detail with history and clinical examination. Inadequate treatment or a virulent strain may cause such recurrence. You should get it investigated. Complete blood count, ESR, peripheral smear, malaria antigen test, widal test, blood culture, Urine routine and culture, USG abdomen.
