As your child is 3 yrs and has fever and couch .it can be upper respiratory tract infection or lower respiratory tract infection.and treatment is different for phyringitis, different for laryngitis, different for bronchitis, different for pneumonia.it is better to consult a local doctor who will ist examine your child
