Fever after vaccination with mmr je dpt
My son has fever since last 4 days after he got vaccinated with dpt je mmr. The fever comes at a gap of 6 hours after giving paracetamol and mefanamic acid. I have given cefodoxime 50 (monocef o 50) 5ml for today but nothing changed in the frequency of occurrence. My son is otherwise healthy and have no other symptoms.

Good morning.
Would require the fever degree, duration, medication history, associated symptoms and other relevant history. Some clinical tests may be recommended.
Antibiotics need to be given over a certain course period. One day / one dose will not be sufficient.
If it is a viral fever, antibiotics will not be helpful.
