Asked for Male, 68 Years

Hi dr , my father age is 68 yrs ,got both dose of vaccination last dose took on 28 april 2021 ,persisting fever between 97.5 to 99.5 from 29 april 2021 ,rest he have no issue with smell ,taste and in breathing ,he is taken paracetamol,with azithromycin and ivermectin from last 3 days . plz suggest what to do next..

Take Tab dolo 650 every 6 hrly if temperature persists. Frequent steam inhalation, warm saline gargles, drink plenty of water. Tab becosules once daily Tab limcee once daily can be added.

Next Steps

since fever is persisting for more than 5 days rtpcr should be done if symptoms not residing.
