Fever after lymphnode surgery
3 days back my sister had a lymph node surgery on her groin area. After surgery she was having a fever and doctor had given fever tablets. Then she was feeling better. But when the tablets effect is gone, she is feeling again sick. Before surgery doctor did a Fnac test. The result shows "Acute Lymphadenitis" Doctor told us nothing to worry. But I'm really scared. Now she is having fever everyday. Pls can anyone tell me why she is having fever everyday. I'm attaching her CBC report that today we took.
Looks like acute infection to me
The CBC reports also say the same
Fever might be a result of antibiotics not working against the pathogens
Get a culture sensitivity of the lymph node done so that the antibiotics can be started according to the report

if you aren't able to procure the tissue culture sensitivity it's better to get admitted for intravenous antibiotics if she is having persistent fever
