Spica cast is placed as a treatment around 1 month back , attaching the latest xray taken 1 week back.Queries are :- 1) How much time will it take based on the attached xray 2) Will there be any deformity caused ? 3) Any consequences which we will be facing for the same. Thanks in adavance !

This is fracture shaft femur with mild angulation. This angulation should not increase. Keep checking it periodically. Fracture usually take 3 months to untie and consolidate.

I feel the bone is not uniting in correct rotation. Both the fragments are in different rotation, angular ion and shortening etc can be corrected by human body but rotations are less tolerated even if child is small.
