Femilon query regarding BP

I am taking Femilon for almost one year for period related issues. Not active sexually. In a recent Hypertension checkup, my bp has come exorbitantly high. Re-Checked  from different places and different times. No lifestyle changes in one year. Want to know if the pill has any effect on BP? Or is my high BP related to something else? Thanks
