Feels Fever last 4 days. when we give him parectmol suyrup 5ml dose one time fever goes down.  but when 4 hour goes on fever comes back At present we take dose parectmol ml 3 times per day My Question is how many days child should take parectmol medicine Suggest sir me better treatment

Hi there, Paracetamol is only to decrease the fever. What is the cause is important & need to be treated then only fever with subside. Paracetamol can be given every 4 hrs if needed. A viral fever may take 2 to 5 days to subside & you can give paracetamol.

Dear parents, Fever is a symptom of under lying disease. Paracetamol work for 4hrs only &reduces fever ,and do not treat. For treatment consult  me on practo app.
