Feeling pain in left side of back

My father is 56 year old. He is feeling pain in left side of back near shoulder since morning. Also his BP is 150/100. After taking gas medicine and pain killer he is feeling relaxed and hi ECG came out to be normal. Is it related to heart problem ??? Please suggest.

Chest pain at this age should be worked up for heart disease by clinical assessment and serial investigations. It should not be ignored
