Hi Dr, My son is 3 months and 23 days old, and he is refusing to feed from the right side breast. His current weight is 5.9 kgs, and he only takes 30-35ml of feed every 3-4 hours. At night, he doesn't ask for any feed and sleeps the whole night. Can you please tell me if this is normal?"

Not asking for feed at night is normal Not taking feed from right breast may be less output, flat nipple or child may be having neck problems

Birth weight? Babies double birth weight in 4mnths. If he's doing that, can ignore the sleeping thro night

He should feed from both breasts otherwise milk supply will reduce that side

Need to do physical examination with pediatrician once to see all is well In night u have to give feed at least 3 hourly See urine of baby in night also
