You may go back to your old prescription as an over correction of myopia often gives rise to eye strain. You need to have a complete check up for glaucoma which includes optic nerve head and retinal nerve fibre analysis; vital field analysis and central corneal thickness measurement. A family history of diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma are among the risk factors. Smoking and tobacco consumption is another risk factor. Please have a complete discussion with your doctor. Do not worry.

You can have dilated refraction done once and confirm the power prescription.
Next Steps
Consult offline with nearby ophthalmologist for detailed evaluation and treatment.
