My mother is a long time diabtic. Her recent ultrasound shows these issues. Are they any serious? do we have to consult a nephrologist and take treatment?

It’s a common finding that usually just represents normal fatty tissue/ tiny calculi or normal reflections in the kidney. It doesn’t need treatment or follow-up unless you develop any symptoms.

There is no serious issue based on the USG report,if she has any urinary symptoms of burning, blood in the urine then need to get a ct scan to see the kidneys
