Hi I did blood test at home for my mother's sugar level on empty stomach(fasting). It was 139 on glucometer. Can u suggest if it's high and I need to consult doctor immediately.. she has fluctuations in past for sugar level. Always at little higher side and once it was 60.

Get her Fbs Ppbs HBA1C in laboratory and consult me. She can adopt lifestyle modification with low carbohydrate adequate protein and fat diet.
