Fasting and diarrhea
Hello doctor
I have been fasting for the last 6 days and today I have a weird feeling in my stomach and I got loose stools few times in the evening . Do I take a break from fasting ? Or any suggestions or treatment

You have probably developed diarrhoea due to an infection. Please take metronidazole 400mg three times a day for three days. Drink plenty of fluids just to make sure you are well hydrated. You need to stop fasting for the three days and once the diarrhoea settles down you can restart your fasting regimen
