Family planned

Hello Dr, I have a history of pcos, but conceived naturally and that was 12 years ago, it was a c section.. I have not used any birth control pills only condoms, sex is occasional, 3 or 4 times a month... I am on telvas 20 mg.. my doubt is whether I need to undergo family planning operation or send my husband for vasectomy? Inspite of actively trying to get pregnant again few years ago, it wasn't unsuccessful.. so my concern is what if I get pregnant by least chance will it have a good outcome being on telvas and also age is 38 years .. Kindly suggest me something.. Respect and thanks
