I experienced blackening out in left eye for 10-15 seconds.I got my MRI (brain + orbit done),Doppler and echo done.All was normal.In blood it was found very low B12 and elevated homocysteine level.Can blackening out be explained by this?
Sudden visual blackout may be due to vasular occlusion of Retinal vessels. It's also suggested by elevated Homocysteine levels.. which increase clot formation in the vessels.
