Wring prescriptions cause myriad symptoms.  Anything from blurring to eye irritation, pain headache etc. If you are not comfortable means, something wrong. Improper frame, ill-fitting glasses, can also cause discomfort. Most, supposedly wrong prescriptions in myopia are due lack of knowledge on the part of prescribing person. Usually such persons are employed in  optical shops, ill trained persons employed in busy practices. They rely on machines. This is known as machine myopia or pseudomyopia. Another usual cause nowadays is due to use of gadgets.
Next Steps
Get proper exam done either by a qualified doctor who does refraction him/her self, or where refraction is performed by trained qualified optometrist.

Incorrect power of the Spectacles will cause blurring of vision, increased strain and stress on eyes and at times for few patients headaches too.
