Eye Problem
I have been having fully red in left eye only for past 3 days. it was itching and felt like something is present inside the eye

Redness with itching indicate towards allergic condition with superadded mild infection, you may use vigamox eye drops 5-6 times+ Pataday eye drops once or twice for few days & if you don't get relief ,you may consult local ophthalmologist.

Most likely that your problem could be an acute episode of acute conjunctivitis.
The foreign body sensation is because of tissue reaction of your eye in response to the infection.
Next Steps
You should be starting on an antibiotic drops, such as Ciprofloxacin eye drops or Moxifloxacin eye drops, 2 drops, 4 times a day immediately for the relief.

Even after you use antibiotic drops, if you feel that the symptoms are not relieved ot if the redness is increasing, its better you see an ophthalmologist.
