Hi, recently I picked up eye infection sort of conjunctivitis, I want to know that is it possible for any doctor to identify how this infection got transmitted?

Hello Conjunctivitis is contagious Exact route of transmission from source of infection to you  is difficult to determine  But it is transmitted by physical contact like hand shaking,using soiled clothes etc

Usually the infection gets transmitted by shaking hands and unknowingly touching the eyes,sharing towel,hanky and pillow of infected or carrier individuals.
