Extreme Pain in Calf When Massaged

I usually get charley horses in my left leg and they went from being extremely painful to bearable (off and on for about 4 yrs). Recently, I went to get a deep tissue massage. It hurt every time she attempted to rub it! It was excruciating. It doesn't hurt to walk or anything, but it can't be massaged at all (not even lightly). What's going on?
