Extreme mood swings due to OCP (Familon)

I've been on OCP Familon (later asked to move on Triqular) for two months and have been experiencing extreme mood swings. Quite unlike my usual behavior. Do these side effects stabilize after using it for couple of months? Or do i stop using them altogether? Many articles on net are scary so please advice.

Hi good evening Thnxs for your question I think u should stop oc pills and think about other contraception method. For that u should consult Gynecologist.

Mood swings are one of side effects of OCPs. Triquilar is very low dose and has minimal side effects. But since it is interfering with your day to day life, I'd suggest you meet your doctor and discuss if you can be switched to a different salt. If you are using OCPs for contraception only , it will a good idea to switch to some other method
