Sir if you are satisfied with the extra tooth, you may not go ahead with extraction. It totally depends on your wish. If the space is available then the dentist may place a crown or veneer on it and try to make it look like a normal tooth. Or else extraction is the last option left. Is the tooth a deciduous tooth( milk tooth) or permanent? If it is a milk tooth then extraction is the only option. If it is a permanent tooth there may be some options with orthodontics
