Exposed to chickenpox

2022-06-13 02:51:47
I am a social worker and during a recent visit (3 days ago) to a village, I was exposed to chickenpox because a lot of people there had it. I had the vaccine as a child and have never had chickenpox. Am I at risk? Should I get a booster shot to prevent getting the infection?

Don't worry. At your age chances of chicken pox is very rare. Still, since you are exposed you can't do anything. If you don't get it by 15 days of exposure, you will not get it. So just chill.
