What you are going through is grief of a person parting. As human beings it is ok to feel the way you do. Give yourself time. Coming out is difficult but believe that it is not impossible. Do not put deliberate efforts to forget, it does not help. Be with people who care for you even when you do not feel like. This is gradual but it helps.
Have regular counseling sessions with a relationship counselor to ease and fasten the process.
