The upper four teeth show dental decay or dental caries. It is the beginning of decay where the outer most layer enamel is decayed so the white part is getting removed. In other words we call it nursing caries or nursing bottle caries. A history of nursing or bottle feeding for more than 1.5 yrs where milk is left overnight without cleaning, frequent feeding, consumption of sugary foods, sweets chocolates and sticky foods. Improper brushing and bad oral hygiene also is a contributing factor for further caries
Next Steps
This condition cannot be reversed on its own, it has to be treated. As the front four are affected, better also check for the molars if they have decay. The next step would be to visit a pediatric dentist
Health Tips
Avoid chips chocolates biscuits and other junk

Looks like Nursing bottle Caries. Does he have a history of drinking sweetened milk/ feeding beyond 6 months of birth or too much consumption of sweets / junk food / carbohydrates in any form? Unfortunately  it will not get cured on its own. You will have to get it treated by Filling/ Root canal cleanings depending on the clinical assessment.
Next Steps
visit a dentist , if a pedodontist( kids dental specialist)
Health Tips
For now- Ask him to rinse with water after every meal brush at night cut down on carbohydrates/ high glycemic index food he can also start brushing with a fluoridated toothpaste, if you are sure that he doesn't swallow toothpaste.

These are nursing bottle caries. Can not be treated at home. You need to visit a near by Pedodontist and get it restored. A proper history of dietary habits will only reveal the reason behind it . As a Pediatric Dentist myself i would recommend to get all the teeth checked . Usually when it has affected the front teeth it is a possibility it is happening in the back teeth too which are needed for a longer period of time before the permanent ones erupt
Next Steps
Maintain a good oral hygiene and visit the Pediatric dentist
